Birthday Retention Rule
You can activate a birthday discount for your members to celebrate their birthday at your store. You will need to attach a discount with this retention rule to motivate your members to come back. Discounts can be a dollar off, percentage off or a free item. RewardUp notifies eligible members via text, email, and push notifications.
The birthday discount can be redeemed on their birthday or birthday month and can be redeemed once a year.
Note: Members must add their birthday to their profile 30 days in advance to be eligible for this discount.
Second Visit Retention Rule
You can activate a discount for members who haven't visited your store since their first visit.
You will need to attach a discount with this retention rule to motivate the eligible members to visit your store again. Discounts can be a dollar off, percentage off or a free item.
RewardUp notifies eligible members via text, email, and push notifications if enabled.
You can issue this discount for eligible members after certain days and set an expiry limit to create urgency. The second visit discount can only be redeemed once in the member's lifetime.
Slipping Away Retention Rule
You can activate a discount for slipping away members who haven’t visited your store for 60 or 90 days. You can configure the number of days from the member's segment section on the member's page.
You will need to attach a discount with this retention rule to motivate the eligible members to visit your store again. Discounts can be a dollar off, percentage off or a free item.

You can issue this discount for eligible members after certain days and set an expiry limit to create urgency. The slipping away member discount can only be redeemed once in the member's lifetime.
Lost Retention Rule
You can activate a discount for lost members who haven’t visited your store for 180 or 365 days. You can configure the number of days from the member's segment section on the member's page.
You will need to attach a discount with this retention rule to motivate the eligible members to visit your store again. Discounts can be a dollar off, percentage off or a free item.

Enabling Notifications for retention rules
You can enable notifications for all retention rules via email, text, and push.
You will be able to customize and preview the content and then send a test notification to yourself before enabling the notification.

Notification delivery time for the birthday discount
Notifications will be sent out to eligible members 3 days before their birthday or birthday month, strictly within the business hours of 8 am to 8 pm in the business time zone.
